The main improvements to Event Planner for Confluence and Jira, newest first. Updates reach your site automatically, except major versions, which an admin approves.

Q4 2026​

  • Space calendars. Create calendars that belong to a Confluence space, find them in the space's Event Planner app, and choose who can view and edit each one with Confluence restrictions. Restore earlier versions from the calendar's history. Learn more
  • Embed space calendar. Show a space calendar, read-only, on any Confluence page, such as a team's home page. Learn more
  • Location, links and people on events. Add a room, a link with a Join button for Zoom, Teams or Meet, and the people involved. Learn more
  • A new calendar header. New event, Today, the four views and a More actions menu sit in one row, and fold into a compact form on narrow pages and dashboards. Learn more
  • List view and Only my events. Read every upcoming event as a list, and filter the calendar to the events you're added to. Learn more
  • Undo a deleted event. Bring back a deleted event with one click. Learn more
  • Planning together. Changes several people make at the same time are merged, and viewers can export the calendar. Learn more
  • For admins: this release is a major version of both apps, so approve the update in Connected apps. Confluence admins can now control space calendar creation on the admin page. Learn more
