An event I didn't delete is gone

Where a missing event went, and how to get it back.

Symptom​

An event you added is no longer on the calendar.

Someone else deleted or moved it​

Cause: Everyone who can edit a calendar can change or delete any event on it. Events have no owner.

Solution:

  • For a space calendar, open ••• > History, find the version that still has the event, and select Restore this version. See Version history, details and trash.
  • For other calendars, add the event again. To prevent it, lock the calendar or limit who can edit. See Lock a calendar.

It's in another week or view​

Cause: The event moved to another date, or Only my events hides it.

Solution: Select List to see all upcoming events, and turn off Only my events.

It's on another calendar​

Cause: Each macro, space calendar, work item panel and gadget is its own calendar. A copied page has its own copy of the events.

Solution: Check that you're on the right page, work item or dashboard.
