I can't see a space calendar

Why a space calendar is hidden from you, in its space or in an embed on a page.

Symptom

A space calendar's link shows You can't open this calendar, an embed shows You can't see this calendar, or the calendar isn't in the space's list.

The calendar is restricted

Cause: The calendar's owner chose Only specific people can view or edit, and you're not on the list. Confluence answers the same way for restricted and deleted calendars, so the message doesn't say which.

Solution: Ask the person who shared the link to add you. See Choose who can see and change a space calendar.

The calendar was moved to the trash

Cause: Someone moved the calendar to the trash. Embeds of it show You can't see this calendar.

Solution: Ask a space admin whether it can be restored, or remove the embed from the page.

You don't have access to the space

Cause: Restrictions can't widen access, so a calendar is only visible to people with access to its space.

Solution: Ask a space admin for access to the space.
