The Event Planner macro doesn't appear in the editor

What to check when you can't insert the Event Planner macro on a Confluence page.

Symptom​

When you type /event planner in the Confluence editor, or search the Insert menu, Event Planner isn't in the list.

The app isn't installed on this site​

Cause: Event Planner for Confluence is a separate app from Event Planner for Jira. It may not be installed on your Confluence site.

Solution: Ask your Confluence admin to install Event Planner for Confluence. See Install, update and uninstall the app.

You typed a different name​

Cause: The editor matches the macro's name.

Solution: Type /event and look for Event Planner. To show a space calendar, look for Embed space calendar instead.
