Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting covers what to do when a shared link doesn't show what you expect. Find the symptom below, as you see it or as your viewer describes it.

• Error: "This link isn't active": the link was turned off, its URL was replaced, or it was copied incompletely.
• A section doesn't appear on a shared link: comments, attachments or other sections you switched on are missing.
• Error: "This work item can't be shown": the link opens, but the work item, board or filter isn't available.
• A file is too large to download: viewers see "Too large to download from a shared link".
• A shared page doesn't show in a frame: an embedded link stays empty on another site.
• Viewers can't comment on a shared link: there's no comment box, or a comment can't be posted.
