Licensing
Event Planner for Confluence and Event Planner for Jira are licensed separately, through the Atlassian Marketplace. Each has a free trial.
What needs a licenseβ
| Action | Without an active license |
|---|---|
| See calendars and open events | Works |
| Switch views, use Only my events | Works |
| Export to ICS or CSV, and Confluence PDF and Word exports | Works |
| Add, change, move or delete events, day headers and settings | Not available |
| Use templates and Create with AI | Not available |
| Create a space calendar | Not available: Create calendar is hidden |
When the license or trial ends, calendars and events stay as they are. Calendars show The app is currently unlicensed. Some features may be limited or unavailable. Saving a change shows Unlicensed App, and the change isn't saved.
Renew the license, and everything works again with nothing lost.
