The Mermaid Diagram macro doesn't appear in Confluence

Symptom​

You type /mermaid in the Confluence editor, or search Insert (+) for Mermaid Diagram, and nothing comes up.

Find the cause​

  1. Check that you're editing a page, blog post or live doc, not a template. You can't use the macro in templates.
  2. Ask your Confluence admin whether Apportunity: Mermaid Diagrams Macro for Confluence is installed. Admins can check in admin.atlassian.com under Apps > Sites > your site > Connected apps.

The app isn't installed​

Cause: Your site has only the Jira app, or neither app. The Confluence and Jira apps are separate.

Solution: A Confluence admin installs Mermaid Diagrams Macro for Confluence. See Install, update and uninstall the app.

The editor hasn't loaded the app yet​

Cause: Your admin installed the app while you had the page open.

Solution: Reload the page.
