Error: "This diagram can't be loaded here"
Symptomβ
A Mermaid Diagram macro or the Jira panel shows "This diagram can't be loaded here. Diagrams are stored with a page or work item, so they don't load in templates or content that no longer exists."
The macro is in a templateβ
Cause: Confluence keeps each diagram as an attachment of its page. A space or page template isn't a page, so the diagram has nowhere to live.
Solution: Remove the macro from the template. Create the page from the template first, then add the macro to the page. See Add a diagram to a Confluence page.
The page or work item no longer existsβ
Cause: The content the diagram belongs to no longer exists, or you've lost access to it.
Solution: Reload the page. If the error stays, restore the page or work item from the trash, or ask its owner for access.
Still not working?β
Contact support with the page or work item link and a screenshot of the message.
