Licensing
Mermaid Diagrams is licensed and billed by Atlassian through the Marketplace. The Confluence and Jira apps each have their own license. For plans, prices and trials, see the listings: Confluence and Jira.
What works with and without a licenseβ
| Feature | Active license or trial | No active license |
|---|---|---|
| See diagrams | Yes | Yes |
| Full screen, export, copy | Yes | Yes |
| Create and edit diagrams | Yes | No |
| Turn code blocks into macros (Confluence) | Yes | No |
| Edit code blocks in place (Jira) | Yes | No |
Without an active license, the editor shows License Required and can't save. Existing diagrams keep showing, so readers aren't affected.
Guests and anonymous visitors in Confluenceβ
Confluence guests and anonymous visitors don't count toward your license. They see diagrams on the pages they can view, and they can open them full screen and export them.
When a license or trial endsβ
Diagrams stay where they are and keep showing. Editing comes back as soon as the license is active again. Nothing is deleted.
