Troubleshooting

Diagram is not rendering​

  • Check your Mermaid syntax for errors. Even a small typo can prevent rendering. Use the Mermaid Live Editor to validate your syntax before pasting it into Confluence or Jira.
  • Make sure the app is installed and enabled. Go to Settings → Apps → Manage apps and confirm ContentCraft is listed as Enabled.

The Mermaid Diagram macro does not appear in Confluence​

  • The app may not be installed. Go to Settings → Apps → Find new apps and search for ContentCraft.
  • If the app is installed but the macro is missing, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.

The Diagrams panel does not appear in Jira​

  • The panel is enabled automatically for all Work Items after installation. If it is missing, confirm the app is enabled under Settings → Apps → Manage apps.
  • Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.

Syntax error shown instead of diagram​

  • Review the syntax page for the diagram type you are using — see Mermaid Diagram Syntax.
  • Common causes: missing closing brackets, incorrect indentation (Mindmap, Timeline), or unsupported syntax for the current app version.
